Curbed Trendwatch Update: More Gas to Go

The Sun checks in on a core Curbed obsession today: the death of the great Manhattan gas stations. Not much new herein, save for two details of probable interest to previous Rumblings questioners: the closed gas station at 34th and Tenth will indeed become a residential development (no plans filed yet), while the Boymelgreen development on the site of the iconic former W23rd Street Exxon (above left) will be 145 feet tall, designed by architects Gerner, Kronick, and Valcarcel. Oh, and for those still feeling the pain, Gawker's singing your tune today, and a sad tune it is.

morty - They should ban you from driving your car. Other people still want to have a chance to drive.
