Floorplan Porn: BLUE's Duplex PH
Friday, June 16, 2006, by Lockhart

And on the five hundredth day, there was floorplan porn: Corcoran has finally listed the duplex penthouse at Lower East Side pixellation obsession BLUE. Above, cast your eyes over 2,494 square feet of limited edition living—and repent. Asking $3.475 million. Oh, ever wondered what a pixellated penthouse view looks like? A couple of renderings, after the jump.

· Listing: 105 Norfolk Street [Corcoran]
· BREAKING: BLUE is, Uh, Blue [Curbed]
The angular space is pretty cool, but I think Tower 14 has a better layout, and a terrace large enough to hold a block party. The PH kitchen also lacks counterspace, but T14 has plenty. There is a reason T14 is more $/sqft. Either one, however, is a relative bargain on a $/sqft (approx. $1,500) basis compared to other such porn on the market going for over 2k per sqft. (Disclosure: I'm in contract for a (much) lower floor unit.)
What does Tower 14 look like? I can't find any mention of it at Curbed or anything at Google. Is this your nickname?
