In The Bronx, It's George's Hole!

If we're going to obsess over Trump's Hole in Soho, we probably should check in on George Steinbrenner's Hole currently growing in The Bronx. Courtesy of Power Plays, here's the first look we've seen of the denuded New Yankee Stadium site, excavation of which is, of course, unsettling some neighbors:

Touring the north end of the construction site along 164th Street, where a few remnant tennis courts will soon give way to a multi-story parking garage for Yankees players and execs, Hester notes, "I don't walk on that side because the rats are so fat." Since construction began, she says, overflowing trash cans and blowing debris have been the routine. "I'm from the old school, where you teach your kids to pick up your garbage."

Too bad George & Rudy weren't on the plane with that shithead Scott Lidle.

NYC politics fun fact: Letitia James, heroine of Anti-Ratner campaigns (rightfully so, sorta)

ABSTAINED

on the goddamn outrageous Yankee deal. Why? Because the Dem. machine put a gun to her head, for whatever reasons.

Take that, "Liberal" New York.

Bring me the had of Adolfo Carrion Jr.

ok Great a New Stadium....question
what was wrong with the last one?

A new stadium Great More jobs to the Bronx - but wait no one from the Bronx, works there or will work there....ummmm...

A new Stadium Great... a new and better place to go watch over paid players who act like babies ..while teachers, firefighters, policy officers don't get paid much...

A new stadium George is spending money in the bronx...umm too bad no one in the bronx will ever see it.
He gets a tax break, schools don't have books...

Dag a new Stadium sounds great to me
