Toll Brothers Show Their Glass on Kent Avenue

The Toll Brothers Northside Piers development on Kent Avenue, which is now clocking in at about fourteen stories and has an onsite sales office, is starting to get glass, which is significant in that the renderings show it being a very glassy waterfront highrise. Looks like 29 stories with glass by summer.

Can we see a side-by-side with 110 Third? Looks like Toll Brothers dusted off the same plans for this building or got a great deal on aqua-colored glass at Costco.

I do not get this building at all. One visit to the sales office and you will quickly see that the buidling's views will be completely blocked once the other two towers go up. The townhouses face 184 Kent. I just do not get the appeal. Maybe as a rental, but to buy? Certainly not at the prices they are going to ask. Look at North8, not exactly moving like hotcakes.

Plus a 1200 odd sq ft three bedroom is tiny.

If Toll had built spacious, huge family friendly spaces at a reasonable price, with high cielings, they would sell them like crazy.

Who else thinks curbed needs to link these pieces to Gmap or whatever, like Brownstoner does? For those of us not in Billyturd, we have to look this stuff up ourselves.
