[Your Neighborhood Name Here], You Rule

Having already terrorized Bed-Stuy, these local-blog-bait ads have hit Houston Street, just down the block from Katz's. What we'd really like is to see one of these ads for Murray Hill.

I've seen one for Murray Hill! It's on a phone booth by the Vitamin Shoppe near Lord & Taylor.

These ads are so disgusting and condescending. They are just so disturbing on so many levels. But then again most people who work in advertising are pretty despicable as well.
"keeping it real" - that's a good one!!!

Virgin advertising has always been gutter level. Secondly, WAY too many words for a print ad. I specifically would not want this product now.

Brooklyn Heights, you're the cat's meow. You've seen it all before and nothing these fresh young whippersnappers can cook up will ruffle YOUR feathers. You know all the best early bird specials on Montague St and arent afraid to get a little crazy and take out the dentures and GUM that dang meatloaf when you're in the mood. Have a very nice day, BH.

I love the ghettofication of America and advertising. Further proof that a 15 year old can be a advertising executive. Or real estate sales person for that matter.

The one for Hell's Kitchen is great. It's on a bus stop on 10th and 42nd. Totally calls out the "Midwest" movement.

"That's the kind of thinking that will get your ass kicked on Orchard St"

I wonder if there's an ad somewhere that isn't enclosed in one of those stupid cases. I'd love to steal one and tape this phrase to my door. (On Orchard St. duh.)

By At least they didn't call it Orchid St at June 11, 2007 8:07 PM
