No sooner did Katy Perry and Russell Brand list one Los Angeles property (that's now in escrow) did the real estate stork swoop in and deliver another bundle of joy: a double-gated, 2.98-acre estate in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood. The couple dropped $6.5M for the Mediterranean property, which was built in 1925 and boasts seven bedrooms, nine baths, a grotto-style swimming pool, no fewer than five fireplaces, and tons of terraces, patios, and balconies. There's even a Japanese-style bridge that runs over a babbling brook—just perfect for California "gurl" Perry.
