Wes Anderson's warmly-received new flick, Moonrise Kingdom, hit theaters last weekend in all it's vintage WASPy glory. While the on-screen tale was centered around the fictional island of New Penzance, it was filmed, in part, on Prudence Island, R.I., a sparsely populated isle in Narragansett Bay. As in the film, the island is reached only by boat or plane and has very few full-time residents—88 according to the latest census. While the Prudence does have its fair share of classic Victorian architecture, the bright red house inhabited by Bill Murray's character is sadly not for sale, and probably doesn't exist.
