Inside Senator Marco Rubio's Miami Home, Asking $675K

New, 30 comments

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio made quite a, uh, splash last night when he reached for a quick sip of water during the televised GOP rebuttal to President Obama's State of the Union address, but his West Miami property made no such impact when it quietly hit the market for $675K before Thanksgiving. Rubio and his wife, Janette, paid $550K for the 2,700-square-foot, four-bedroom home in 2005, but now, despite Rubio's recent soundbite—"I still live in the same working-class neighborhood I grew up in"—they have plans to relocate to Washington full time. While Rubio's decor choices seem rather unremarkable, people always get super psyched about the chance to reside within the same four walls as rising politicians before they truly hit it big. Check out the dwelling above, and be sure to look out for the phantom water bottle—seriously—in the kitchen shots.
