Is Simon Cowell Shopping Around This 1966 Hal Levitt?

Today The Real Estalker catches wind of the rumor that Simon Cowell may be quietly shopping around his Hal Levitt-designed estate in Beverly Hills for $20M. The TV producer and former American Idol judge plunked down $15.5M for the property in 2011, snatching up the four-bedroom, 7,265-square-foot manse from an AEG exec. Long before the digital screening room was installed, the home, built in 1966, belonged to Pillow Talk producer Ross Hunter and Singin' in the Rain set decorator Jacques Mapes.
If these rumor pan out, one person sure to be disappointed is Cowell's girlfriend; Page Six recently reported that the two had planned to live together here once her divorce is complete. Then again, perhaps it's best to shed all those skeletons: apparently Cowell's ex-fiancee decorated the place. Check out the batch of "before" photos, culled from the 2011 listing, over on Curbed LA.
