Location: West Lake Hills, Texas
Price: Upon request
A strong offering from the recent class of architect-designed contemporary mansions built in the wealthy Austin suburb of West Lake Hills has been put on the market, price upon request. Broker Laura Gottesman says that the original owners, who commissioned if from architect Peter Gluck in the early aughts, are look for an offer "in the $20M range."

The dwelling is sited on about 4 acres a few miles outside of downtown Austin, among "200 Heritage Live Oaks." The listing describes it as sitting atop a "transparent glass living room and modern kitchen," with a "cut in the grass connecting the sunken courtyard with the living space of the bottom tier, allowing a sort of permeability with the environment."

The 10,563-square-foot home has seven bedrooms, eight-and-a-half bathrooms, and a more traditional detached two-bedroom guesthouse. How much do you think it should go for?
