A departure from the usual (very opaque) tiny homeswe've featured, this micro home design by Danish artist Jane Ostermann-Petersen looks more like the glass cabin retreat of our dreams—only livable. Highlighted in the latest issue of Elle Decor South Africa, the gabled structure made of iron, wood, and glass was inspired by Dutch beach houses that would temporarily go up for the summer season. This dwelling, which can be assembled by two people, features large glass doors and windows, a minimalist lofted bed, some semblance of a "kitchen" on pared down shelving, and a wooden patio.
