Come Take a Gander at These Bauhaus Birdhouses

New, 2 comments

In what seems like an inevitable development in the world of avian architecture, German design outfit Opossum Design has developed a line of birdhouses inspired by Bauhaus architecture. "A lot of bird feeders especially with brightly colored and shiny surfaces are designed for persons and not for birdies," the product site states (looking at you, bird mansions!) Opossum's series of birdhouses and birdbaths espouses radical simplicity, featuring streamlined combinations of stainless steel "roofs" and frost-proof porcelain feeding bowls. For a slight extra touch, a few models also come with holes for adding that authentic, mood-setting stub of branch.
