Perhaps signaled by its name "Recall House," this expansive loft in Taiwan has been "peeled back" to reveal its industrial origins. Local interiors firm HAO Design, who previously gave a jet engineer an unmistakably aviation-inspired apartment, stripped down all the existing painted walls and marble surfaces in the place, replacing them with concrete floors and walls. Going for a "vintage industrial" vibe, the open-plan space features exposed brick, timber, and metal, and shelves and dining tables inspired by scaffolding. The best part, however, may be the special amenities the clients requested for their three pet cats: a custom nook by the dining space and adorable mini arched doors.
