Snugly fit between two buildings in NYC's SoHo neighborhood, the Happy Bones café embraces an industrial aesthetic while maximizing space for its customers. Designers UM Project and Ghislaine Viñas Interior Design crafted a compact counter at the end of the 432-square-foot space, while a mixture of brick, timber, and steel mesh provide minimalist décor. The bundle of fluorescent lights hanging at the café's center could be straight out of a nearby art gallery. Accented against the design's neutral greys and whites is one splash of color: 80's-inspired wallpaper at the entrance.
