Get ready for the Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Awards 2016

Photographing buildings, interiors, or any built environment is no easy task—as anyone who’s struggled to snap an artful architecture Instagram will know—so it’s best left to the pros to create images that do more than document buildings. Because when they do, the results can be electrifying, moving, and downright beautiful.

And to have the 20 best photographs of the year, all in one place? A true feast for the eyes, thanks to Arcaid Images’s annual Architectural Photography Awards. Each of the shortlisted images will be exhibited at the World Architecture Fair in November, with the winner to be announced at the gala dinner.

The shortlist is divided into four categories: Buildings in Use, Exteriors, Interiors, and Sense of Place. Take a look below, and let us know your favorites in the comments section.
