Projector theater system. Beer draft lines. Yoga hammock. What doesn’t this 250-square-foot tiny house have? Built with efficient structural insulated panels on a custom 32-foot gooseneck trailer, this sharp micro dwelling forgoes the “lofted bedroom” often found in tiny houses to make the most of the open headspace. In fact, the hanging bike rack next to the ceiling fan can store up to three bikes.
Completed in January 2016, the “Terraform One” has a slightly elevated Queen-size bed, a pull-out couch, and a kitchen with butcher block counters, vent hood, plenty of cabinets, chalk board, and, of course, the aforementioned keg draft lines. Other nifty features include off-grid capability, a bluetooth smart lock, built-in storage in the bathroom, not to mention a convenient dose of greenery, the new Pantone Color of the Year.
Curiously enough, the owner—who presumably got used to the “32-square-foot micro camper” he’s been traveling around the country in—is now selling the home to downsize even further. It’s available for $75,000 and currently parked in Dallas, Texas.
