Wes Anderson Film Sets Immortalized in Mini Paper Dioramas

New, 1 comment

What's more whimsical than the world of Wes Anderson films? Few things. But these paper miniatures of Wes Anderson film sets, rendered painstakingly, come pretty close. Crafted by Barcelona-based artist Mar Cerdá, who mocked up sets from three Anderson movies—The Darjeeling Unlimited, The Royal Tenenbaums, and The Grand Budapest Hotel—the miniature dioramas feature watercolor-on-paper furniture and figurines with gorgeous, tiny details.

It's not the first time Anderson's signature style was immortalized in paper: We previously reported on a series of oh-so-adorable postcards by designer and illustrator Mark Dingo Francisco that featured architecture from the Grand Budapest Hotel, the Royal Tenenbaums, and more.
