TWA Flight Center: 13 Best Instagrams From the Storefront for Art and Architecture Soirée

New, 2 comments

All the structure's sweeps, curves, and delightful details

On Sunday evening, the design cognoscenti gathered at New York City nonprofit Storefront for Art and Architecture's annual spring benefit dinner and party. This year, the soirée was titled "Beyond Borders" and the venue—Eero Saarinen's (disused) masterwork 1962 TWA Flight Center at John F. Kennedy International Airport—stunned, as always.

And, naturally, where there is knockout architecture to be photographed, there are enthusiastic Instagrammers ready to work their magic. Luckily, a building as beautiful as the terminal requires little in the way of visual sorcery; Saarinen has all the architectural enchantments handled.

Here, now, the 13 best snaps from the party, from VIP lounges to signage and everything in between.
