Another Evans Woollen-designed midcentury modern home has come on the market in Indianapolis, Indiana, after nearly two decades, and it’s delightful. Originally built in 1959, it has been impeccably maintained with a few updates since then, with many incredible details intact.

Measuring 2,404 square feet, the three-bed-three-bath boasts a plethora of modern elements that still feel fresh today. The flat-roofed structure incorporates brick-and-timber walls, impressive glass expanses, gorgeous woodwork and built-in storage, terrazzo floors, and a soaring, beamed ceiling.

Clerestory windows allow even more natural light to flood into the space, where an open-plan living and dining room anchor the space along with a timber fireplace.

There’s also a wonderful “lightly refreshed” vintage kitchen with linoleum tiling and what appears to be original cabinetry. The bedrooms and one of the bathrooms have undergone a bit more renovation, while another bathroom features period tiling.

The best part of the home, is, of course, the seamless indoor-outdoor connection by way of sliding glass doors and the natural setting beyond the stone patio. Located at 250 Williams Drive on over half an acre, it’s offered at $475,000.
