All-concrete modern home stays cool for the summer

Concrete house mastermind Luciano Kruk is at it again, this time creating a covetable residence near Buenos Aires blending concrete, water, and greenery.

But mostly concrete. From the facade’s overhanging slabs to the board-marked concrete walls and floors to the concrete kitchen countertops, this is definitely one house that will staying cool through the Argentinian summer.

Casa Mach spreads over 1,528 square feet, with an open-plan kitchen and living room on one side, and two bedrooms and two bathrooms on a more concealed side. Extensive floor-to-ceiling windows create an indoor-outdoor feel without the need to deal with the elements. At the center of the home is a lush courtyard with a small reflecting pool, as requested by the client.

There’s also a second reflecting pool in front of the house, as well as a larger swimming pool and garden on the rear side.
