Celebrity talk show host—and home flipper extraordinaire—Ellen DeGeneres is putting up her Santa Barbara home for sale. The asking price? $45 million.
The 10,500 square-foot house was designed in 1934 by architect Wallace Frost. It occupies a large plot of land, spanning almost 17 acres after DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi bought two adjacent properties. It’s full of Old World details, and the pavilion mimics a 17th century Tuscan villa.
With six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, nine fireplaces, and multiple libraries, there’s definitely enough space for a large family. Modern amenities are plenty too, from kitchen appliances to an outdoor lap pool and sunken tennis court.
Perhaps the most priceless feature of it all is the amazing view the house has of the ocean— the sunset view is a showstopper.
