Airstream—the company behind the iconic silver travel trailer—has just released a new special edition version of both its trailer and its Class-B touring coach. In partnership with the island-themed retailer Tommy Bahama, the new campers embrace a beach motif that is all about rum and cool ocean breezes.
The Tommy Bahama Interstate Touring Coach features similar amenities to the normal Class-B models—like a convertible bed, adjustable LED lighting, and an extensive entertainment system. Throw in the Tommy Bahama influence, however, and you get Island-inspired decor, woven luxury vinyl flooring, black nickel cabinet hardware, and Caribbean-style matte finish cabinetry.
Custom Tommy Bahama logo stitching is ubiquitous, and it makes sense that a built-in wine bar is ready to hold everything from coconut rum to seltzers. An extra accessory kit comes with a chair, cooler, and some brightly-colored towels.
Similarly, the travel trailer is basically a normal Airstream with island fever—the queen-sized bed is outfitted with jungle-themed linens, and the window graphics boast images of hibiscus and fish. Striped Tommy Bahama awnings create a beachy feel, and wooden blinds, plantation shutters, and a surfboard-inspired dining room table continue the island theme.
Perhaps the coolest feature of the special edition trailer—if it’s not the back lit bar ready for cocktails—is a rear hatch that lets sea breezes flow through the integrated screen.
The Tommy Bahama Airstream Special Edition Travel Trailer sells for $114,600 while the special edition Touring Coach is offered at $165,050. Both are available at dealers nationwide. Head over here for more.
