Mid-July means Prime Day, Amazon’s made-up shopping holiday with discounts on everything from smart home devices to furniture, is back. For customers armed with a Prime membership, thousands of deals will go live today starting 3 p.m. EST/noon PST and continuing for 36 hours.

New this year are Prime Day Launches, new products and content that will only be available to Prime members for a limited time. And “Lightning Deals,” which are items offered at limited quantities for a limited time, will be back. Note that Amazon usually publishes lightning deals a few hours before they go live, and the Amazon App has a “Watch” tool that will send a push notification when a deal goes up.

Throughout the event, we’ll be highlighting the best deals for the home below, including some lead-up offers on Amazon smart home devices that are already available to shop. Be sure to check back!
