Fast fashion—high on trends, low on cost—has transformed the apparel industry. Now, a new brand, The Inside, wants to do the same for home furnishings by giving shoppers expressive pieces that ship in days, all at a relatively easy-to-stomach price range of around $200 to $700.

Launching today with $1.5 million in venture funding, The Inside comes from Christiane Lemieux, who previously founded DwellStudio, a furniture and textiles business that sold to Wayfair in 2013. The Inside (branded as “The __ Inside” to let you fill in the blank with whatever persona you may be feeling) aims to translate trends—think the prints and patterns you’re auto-liking on Instagram—into ready-to-order furniture.

That’s where the tech component comes in. Unlike traditional furniture companies, The Inside will hold no inventory, which allows it to pass on some savings to customers. Instead, all products are made to order using 3D modeling and digital printing, and can be delivered in 6 to 14 days.

The Inside’s printed cotton and linen fabrics, with styles ranging from “midcentury” to “rustic farmhouse” to “global traveler,” bring variety—and personality—to the familiar armchair, bed, ottoman, bar stool, and the like.

The Inside’s launch also includes capsule collections with fashion designer Peter Som and handbag designer Clare V, and the company says more collaborations are on the way.

Below, a sample of what you can expect from The Inside.
