Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We’d love to see what you’ve got.

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Price: $1,060,000

Set high on a hill with gorgeous vistas all around, this four-bedroom, three-bath home in Salt Lake City is a groovy time capsule waiting for a new owner. The home was built in 1973 by Joseph H. Young, great-grandson of Salt Lake City founder Brigham Young and an architect of many church houses, residences, and commercial buildings.

For years, Young had a small wooden model home that he used to show to prospective clients; when he saw this quarter-acre lot, he knew the design would fit perfectly. The geometric building is divided into two wings, with a garage on either side and the front door and landing in the center. A domed skylight is one of the focal points, as are two wraparound decks that take advantage of the surrounding views.

The living room and bedrooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows, a decadent chandelier, and original woodworking throughout. Except for a new refrigerator, the kitchen hasn’t been touched, including the original 1970s double ovens.

If 1970s style makes you swoon, 790 East Northcliffe Drive is for sale now.
