For this week’s special holiday hosting edition of House Calls, we head to Red Hook, Brooklyn, where we feasted with Jean Lee and Dylan Davis, co-founders of the inventive design practice Ladies and Gentlemen Studio.

The couple’s studio, situated in a pre-Civil War building just a few short blocks from their apartment, features two distinct spaces, which are perfect for hosting workshops and holiday gatherings with their fellow creatives. The original fireplace—both a centerpiece and an easy way to grill party-friendly kebabs—creates a “cozy campfire feeling”, while plants, art, and dinnerware displayed on open shelving give guests a sense of warmth and intimacy.

With the holidays upon us, we sourced a few products from the space—or similar finds—to get you fully inspired to host your own picture-perfect gathering this season.
