Historic houses have unquestionable charm, and the latest to catch our eye is this five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath beauty in Savannah, Georgia. Known as the Israel Dasher House and originally constructed in 1858, the 5,370-square-foot home underwent a year-long renovation that brought the property to its picture-perfect state.

The four-story house is located on a double lot and tree-lined street in Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District. Guests enter into a foyer and triple parlor with 12-foot ceilings, heart pine floors, original plaster ceilings, and vintage pocket doors.

Oversized windows make the living areas feel light and airy, and ten gas fireplaces throughout the main home add coziness. The kitchen features Carrera marble countertops and access to an outdoor patio for dining, while a handsome staircase leads to the upstairs sleeping quarters and a wrought-iron balcony.

Outside, an open-air brick patio runs the length of the patio, and a heated lap pool and spa surrounded by landscaping creates a resort-like atmosphere. The northern side of the property boasts an orchard with blooming orange, lemon, kumquat, and olive trees, and a two-bedroom carriage house provides additional square footage.

Love what you see? 124 West Gaston Street is on the market now for $3,995,000.
