You can stay—and shop—at this chic Montauk bungalow

Why shop in a store when you can shop in an artfully decorated bungalow on the beach? For the second year in a row, interior designer Robert McKinley has set up shop in Montauk, where he’s filled a rentable home with curated goods from the likes of Hay, Floyd, and Blu Dot.

McKinley, who is known for his relaxed-yet-chic interior style, outfitted the 2,400-square-foot refurbished bungalow with an appropriately beachy vibe. The home’s spacious living room flows into the kitchen and dining area, where a simple wood Hay table anchors the room. A sunset colored tapestry from Aelfie hangs in the background, giving the stark white walls a bit of color.

The four bedrooms sport Floyd bed frames, Blu Dot dressers, and bedding from fellow direct-to-consumer brand Wright. If it all sounds like a shoppable Instagram post come to life, you’d be absolutely correct. Most everything in the house is purchasable down to the smart lock on the door.
